Mt Vernon has 2 injury accidents. One at Coshocton and Division and the other at SR 13 & Murray. The one on SR 13 is the worse, have called for 2 Med flights and the coroner.
Utica medic has been assisting on SR 13.

I hope and pray this makes sense cause I'm a shakin up mess.  This accident was right infront of my work place the 7 of us were first on scene.  I've never seen such a thing in my life.  I've never been apart of trying to calm ppl and make sure everyone is ok.  It is bad.  I don't know the names of anyone.  The older early 90s honda had a girl that was 18 as the driver and we just prepared our parking lot and moved all our vehicles out as medflight will be landing in our parking lot to transport her.  Her 23 year old male passenger I could not get a pulse on, and I tried several times and I was the 2nd person to the scene.  The Black SUV that she hit head on the guy is alive but in some serious pain.  I would guess his pelvic and hip bone is broke as his hip was laying on his stomache and his knee was wrapped around his head.  We have a parking lot full.  Jennifer Ogle is here as the cornor, Virgil is here and countless EMT's Life flight is landing at the moment.  So I'll be right back.

:'( :'( :'( :'(
anyone listening? Just gave some very sad news. I THINK I heard them give a description of the cars involved. But not sure if I heard the second car correctly.

They are calling for another medic on the first accident. They need a total of three medics, two already on scene.

Dang... didn't hear the coroner part....

:(
Sigh..... Didnt want to post it right away. So sad.

I hate that damn intersection, pulling off Murray onto 13S is always a crap shoot. People fly down 13. Traffic is still backed up and some guy is turning them around, I hear one of the helicopters now.

We took a pic of med flight in the lot, but I didn't take any of the cars.  Virgil is here and I'm sure he will have them.  I did't have my camera up there.  Once I calm down, Ill explain what happened.  3 young kids 18, 18, and 16 thankfully were not injured or involved but they were right there and the young boy is shaken up badly, he is a mess.  Poor kid, I told him to hug his mamma extra tight tonight.

OK, AB I blew my diet...its hotter than hell out there I've been out there over an hour and just got me a good old fashioned Dr. Pepper.

OK, this is what happened...I'll try to make sense.

A red Chevy Barretta stlye care with 3 young kids 18,18 year old boys with a 16 year old girl in the back seat were headed south on 13 and was going to turn onto Murray Road, but there was a Black Denali headed north.  The red chevy was waiting for the Denali to pass before he could make his turn onto Murray Road. Another car the dark blue honda was also traveling south on 13 and you could see her skid marks at the top of the hill coming down from where the Old Lanngings was...instead of rear ending the red chevy she went left of center and hit the Dinali head on.

I just found out they are transferring the guy in the Denali Life Flight and they took the 18 year old girl to KCH.  Life flight is lifting off now.
