If its foggy and a certain vis around the base they were going to lift from they will not fly.  The traffic cams that I saw from various places, some of them were foggy or hazy.  Other than that, wind was not an issue.  Spent several years flying with St. Vincent's Lifeflight and doing ground transports in NW Ohio.  Unless you look at the site of who is available to see their weather then you don't know.  I know I already heard Metro and a St. Vincent's on the radio this morning on my drive to Columbus.  They got above any conditions and had good vis where they were.

thanks, i hadn't thought about fog     Was dealing with the fog in my brain  ;)

About 10 mins ago reported 3 vehicle accident at 36 & Tucker. Squad on the scene. Life flight on the way to hospital with the victim from the tractor accident.

Oh My!  :'( Does NOT sound good!!! Just heard them say patient #1 is being "bagged". (I assume that means the breathing bag for CPR).  Medic on scene just told dispatch to notify KCH that they will probably have 6 to 7 victims. Medflight is NOT able to fly due to the weather.

6-7 victims med flight won`t fly due to weather, I don`t understand that one. Heard 1 was pinned and 2 others ejected

Depending on what helo's are where, and what the conditions are at their site, they cannot always fly.  Winds, visibility, other conditions that may affect them.

Sounds like they are arranging for air transport from KCH to another hospital. (Medic said something like ....any place that has an open trauma)
They said "Metro" will be doing the transport? ????? (what's Metro?)
They asked for patient info and this is all I heard.
25-30 y/o Male Ejected.

I heard several patients being transported to KCH on "NON emergency status".  But now I'm hearing several going in on "Emergency status".  :(
