First off, this was not the Viet Nam War.  On the backs of the noncommissioned people, the Dems made tons and tons of money from the death and misery or our service people.  The  Great Johnson-Kennedy Money War, killed over 60,000 American and hundred of thousands of people are so screw-up that they can't get their lives on the right track.  Why?  Money, Money, Money!

All politically mind Dems, who knew that it would look good on their resume, wanted to go Viet Nam.  Especially, if you were an officer, (Kerry & Murtha) you knew that you pretty much, could write your own citations and awards.  When your ass was in the grass, how many times did you ever see a Major or above, except for photo ops, out there.  Never!   If you were REMF like Al Goare (who spent less then 6 months in country) or an upper echelon officer, the Johnson-Kennedy Money War was a career builder.  For the rest of us it was, HELL.

AMEN! You said it. And Murtha got his grubby little hands filthy rich for the Iraq war as well, all the while bashing the good soldiers in harms' way. CM doesn't have a f***ing clue.

I know a few things

1.  He served in Vietnam, voluntarily

2.  He served with valor

3.  He fought harder for veterans' rights than anyone else on capitol hill.

Am not losing sleep over this topic.....just thought I'd chime in when I witnessed the far right reveling in his death, and figuratively spitting on a veteran's grave, that a man who fought harder than any other individual to serve veterans' needs.

Carry on with your screeching armymom - is comforting in a way to witness your predictable shrill manner.  Consistency is a good thing, sometimes

Thanks.

Can't really say we're speaking ill of the dead.  We're just recognizing ALL of his accomplishments.   ;)

Is there an echo in here????     :hysterical:

"continue on"
"carry on"
"continue on"
"carry on"

continue on, Murtha bashers - although none of you can mirror his actions on behalf of this country in any way, shape or form

no problem gang

am content to stir the pot and watch you continue to vilify a veteran........suggest his medals were bogus......question his patriotism......while you insult me

carry on.....you're my best "argument" against the "far right" - and write my material for me

thanks much

am so glad the "day" of the fringe right is over............not only kickin' people when they're down, but after they die and their bodies are still warm..........veterans, to boot - not only veterans, but veterans who have fought harder for the rights of other vets than anyone else on capitol hill

unbelievable........

may the shrill ultra conservative rhetoric continue............

Since we have curious minds blessing, I say we "continue on".     :hysterical:

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist,
you'll have to vote for someone else in 2012
to prove you're not an idiot.

Good point, but for all who know CM, she is the last person in the world who should give advise on other peoples actions, activities, attitudes, efforts and such...

I find it less than disengenuous that she would chastize others for anything...glass houses and all
