We are driving down the road or street and I say " PULL-OVER, PULL-OVER" JANE  does just that.

Pulls-over the first place she can. It might be anyplace    :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Nothing is off limits      [ A good shot waits for no  one]  It will  :runaway: :runaway: :runaway:

Jak,

If you are on a busy road and see "that shot", what do you do, just pull off to the side of the road? Any tips?

I usually drive up the road a ways and then turn around, look for a pullout or some other place to pull off of the road and then walk to my shot

Do the amish mind taking pictures of them working, do you ask first? If houses are off limits without permission, are their barns and other stuff?

Haven't really tried this one yet, but of course I'd ask permission.  This is not a list of things I've shot - just of ideas I've had.

I've seen spots where they've gotten off of the plows to go do something and my interest is more in pictures of just the horses, plows & field than of people.  Same with buggy's lined up at hitching posts...

You use your yahoo id to sign in.

So what if you don't belong too or have a Yahoo ID?  I am getting confused just like Tweety was for a while.  Guess I'll just pass on this for now.  Thanks for info.   :banghead:

Don't give up Lucylou, you can do it!    :1cheer: :1cheer:

SDB & Cateyes thanks for the encouragement but I am sure I don't have an ID on Yahoo - I don't think I have ever been to the web page.  Thought it was a place to get an e-mail address and homepage and I went another route  and never checked it out.  Need to get out of my little world more and if it involves downloading to my computer will surely screw it up as I always do.  Just something I am no good at.

Give me a few days and I might be able to come up with a much easier solution lucylou....

Ok folks I need some more help - I have my Yahoo ID, but now I have to sign up for Flickr.  I took the tour but looks like I will have to provide info and want to be prepared.  I can put my pics on MVOhio ok but is it the same procedure to upload them to Flickr and then how do you make people have access or is that just automatic.  Sorry to be so dense but have never done anything like this and from past experience I don't like surprise questions that I have no clue how to answer.  One other question - if I post my pictures here why do I have to put them on Flickr?

Flickr is owned by Yahoo, so when you use you yahoo id, they already have the information.
After you get a flickr page it will be easier to lean the rest, because you can see your flickr page.

I believe there are three step on the sign up, as you do that just fire any questions you have on this thread.

The 3 steps
1. Personalize your page
2. Upload your first photo
3. Find friend on flickr

Thanks that helps some - anyone want to hold my hand while I do this (hehe).  Sorry to be so insecure but if you knew some of the messes I have gotten myself in - you would be nervous too.

The 3rd step you don't have to do, I still have not done it.
