Some folks still pan Ohio creeks for gold.

Speaking of working the rivers for gold here in Ohio, while boating down the Kokosing River today I happened to find something very interesting. I also spoke with a gentleman who was panning for gold. He said he has gotten some gold, in flake form right here in the Kokosing.

There were many different types of rigs set up going down the river, I didn't want to intrude on there privacy. But I had never seen anything like this in my life..

yep there are MANY types of ways to pan for gold...from the simple special pan that has special ribs on its walls...to the big fancy systems...that cost LOTS of money.

If you go to one of the gold club functions...you can see it all.

I dont belong to a club..BUT I have attended some of their open functions at the Bellville area...it was a family enviroment...even had live music when I was there...campers stayed on members property..my grandkids played in the creek til their lips turned blue...and then there were kiddy duck races...a learning to pan for gold section.  Simple clean fun for all. I got great pics of a great time.

Since my friend has been panning..it has stirred me to want to check into being a member so I can travel/use the land of members...which constist of all over our nation including Alaska..There is two main gold clubs that I am aware of..maybe be more...but it can be a fun way to spend a weekend.

  • My Brain is very unique
There are veins of gold all over Saudi Arabia...they cover them back up when found.  Prince Turkey told me they will mine gold if oil ever loses it's value.

They are prepared to flood the market and make our gold as close to worthless as it has ever been....
