Ghana defeated the United States 2-1 in overtime in World Cup action, thereby ending U.S. chances of advancing in the tournament...our boys played valiantly, but lost.....hey !...whatcha Ghana do ?...... :yahoo:

cool, finally a sports story without Brent Farve or Tiger Woods.  uh, what was the question again?
I'd rather slam my nose in a car door. I'd rather have a proctologist named Dr. Hook. I would rather watch Roseanne Barr do a striptease than give up my MVOhio.

I know your talking about the so called sport of soccer, It`s nothing more than a politisized bunch of crap. A handfull of pansy asses running back and forth and think there great when the call doesn`t go there way. Thinking there commy country is best when they know better, wishing they could leave and go play as real sport in a country that gave a crap  :biteme:

My grandson has played soccer for 6 yrs, had a granddaughter that played soccer in high school. The one thing I noticed about soccer, they have to have much more stamina than a football player or basketball player. Resting is only at half time.  ;)

My son loved his sports, but his passion was football. Do you realize how much effort goes into playing that game? All the sweat, preparation, two a days , those guys really train for that sport. I don't know much about soccer since my son did it at a young age. Also , with football there are concussions that come with that sport. Very dangerous!

This sport is definitely less dangerous for the participants,
and that's a good thing.  It seems the serious injuries,
over the years, occur with the fans.......

I keep trying to watch it...... all that time spent....and finally
one point is made.  Of course, I find the Indianapolis 500
boring, too.  I'm _not_ entertained when there is a vehicle
      crash.

I asked the men, what is the draw on this (regarding the
World Cup - the adult games.  They said it's
something to do, and many of the spectators are drunk,
which continues to cause serious problems.

      But, to each their own.
