That is the 11-12 yr olds. My grandson plays in the 9-10 yr old LL city championship at Phillips at 3:30 today.

It is so much fun watching them evolve and get better year to year. My grandson is 10, so will be in the 11-12 yr old league next year.

Anyone know who is playing in the Majors LL Championship?

The game was between First Knox and Carpenter DDS.  They had played a full 4 innings and I believe the score was 11 - 5 and then the storm hit.  Bevington had commented that the game could be considered a completed game because 4 innings had been played.  It is unknown by me if they decided to call the Championship game complete and not continue play tomorrow.

Has anyone heard what they decided to do?

My grandson's game (under 10) has been moved up to 8:00 tonight on the big field. I don't know if that means they will finish it out or not.

10 and under finish tonight. My grandson's team (Oak Leaf Mortgage) lost to Foster's 6-5. Last game tonight at 6. The boys have all done well, and they are a great bunch of kids. Good luck Oak Leaf Mortgage.

cojo,

The Oak Leaf boys (Machine Pitch) played awesome tonight! Me and my boy were down there to watch the game and were very proud to watch a lot of the kids we know through school and other sports. Great Season!!!!!!!

Use to love to watch my nieces and nephews play.   Thanks for the postings here, I enjoy the enthusiasm and the support the young people are receiving.

My grandson's team played in the 9-10 yr old championship game Sun afternoon. They lost, so came in second out of 16 teams. The team that beat them had not lost a game all season or in the tournament. Grandson's team was also #2 in season play. So they had a really good year. Now they are getting ready for all star tournaments. They should have a really good team. So will be doing some traveling in the upcoming weeks.  ;)
