The Babe Ruth 13 Yr old team won their first game in State Competition against Zanesville 6-2. They play again tomorrow at 2:30.

Yesterday, the 13 Yr old's beat Cambridge 5-1. Today they will play Moundbuilders which is the Licking Co. team at 2:30.

Today's game was cancelled due to rain. We got within 20 minutes of Springfield and it started sprinkling by 2:30 when the game was supposed to start the heavens opened and dumbed a massive amount of water!

On our way back home, traffic was at a standstill on I-270 E. Reports were that there was road flooding and accidents in areas on both I-71 and I-270. All lanes were bumper to bumper and not moving where we were. We managed to get off I-270 onto 315 (which we also heard reports had standing traffic) and got off at the Worthington exit and got on 23 and drove through Delaware to get home. What a mess it was!

Well, today's game is rescheduled to tomorrow at 2:30 pm. They are expecting it to be 95 degrees! We'll go from one extreme to another.

Mt. Vernon won today 21 - 3 over Moundbuilders. Moundbuilder's went through 3 pitchers during the game. MTV hit easily off of 2 of the 3. There were 2 more games tonight that will determine who we will be playing in the Championship game tomorrow.

The game after us today was Zanesville vs. Cambridge and the winner of that was scheduled to play Moundbuilders tonight at 8:00.

I don't have any of the results from either of these games so don't know who MTV will be facing tomorrow.

Well, the 13 yr olds are playing Moundbuilders again tonight. They won in the loser's bracket so MTV will see them tonight at 8:00!
