Some info from Monday’s school board meeting…stuff that isn’t in today’s online article from the Mount Vernon News (Does anyone know whether the News published anything about this?):

Two people spoke to the school board during the public participation portion of Monday's school board meeting about the recent subpoenas (video):

"Levi Stickle to school attorney: Why did you send me a subpoena?"



"William Pursel: Frivolous subpoenas"



I submitted a written statement to the school board regarding the recent subpoena I received from attorney Moore--the following is a paragraph from that statement:

"I understand that attorney Moore has a job to do in defending the school district in the federal case. However, there is a difference between being thorough and casting such a wide net, while fishing for information, that one goes overboard. Attorney Moore's actions appear to be the latter."

Whom will she send a subpoena to next? Will she, or the other side, now start sending subpoenas to everyone who has written or commented on the Freshwater controversy?

Wow, that sounds like what I was thinking along time ago!!    Except about R Kelly Hamilton! He had soo many people come testify, I figured EVERYONE would be next.
Why would you be upset just because a lawyer subpoenaed two people?
The way I read the news article is that they weren't even at the meeting.

I heard a rumor Airborne was really a shallow-water sailor in the Coasting Guard.  He needs to prove otherwise.

Oh I don't know, how about the facts of you posted a YouTube video of John Freshwater talking about the settlement and you posted Hamilton's closing remarks before the hearing referee did.


When you want attention for your blog, you sure got it.  And since it's a federal case, there is a good chance that all the communications requested in the subpoena will come to light.


And hopefully, you'll get the "accountability in the media" you "fought" so hard to expose.
